About Saint Michael's
What does it mean that Saint Michael's is a "gathered" parish.  Ideally, this means that people from anywhere and everywhere can join and become parishioners in the truest sense of the word.  Practically, however, it means that Saint Michael's is a haven to which people journey weekly, many from great distances.  They do this because the traditional liturgy is important to them and because there are only a few locations in the area which offer it.  Some parishioners come as far away as Bartlesville, Owasso, Cleveland,  Leonard, Stone Bluff and Wagoner county.

Despite the geographic obstacles, Saint Michael's does have an active parish life. It boasts a talented organist who leads the congregation in singing; parish dinners and potlucks; a devoted and active Altar Guild which takes care of the sacred vessels and all things pertaining to the care and preparation of the Lord's Table; a monthly gathering for Popcorn and Theology.  And our Annual Shrove Tuesday "Pancakes and Poetry." Not to be forgotten is a group of Acolytes who loyally and devotedly serve God at His Holy Table every Sunday.

Saint Michael's has a full liturgical and devotional schedule. Each Sunday, Saint Michael's offers two worship services.  The early service is held at 8:00 (without music) and the regular service is held at 10:10 am (with music).

Our mid-week service of Evening Prayer is held on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm along with the Litany.

Saint Michaels is a friendly, welcoming church, always pleased to welcome visitors and to accept new members.  Everyone is, of course, welcome.
